Troubleshooting the checkout

The six things that cover nearly every "it's not working".

Nothing renders where I pasted the snippet

Your platform stripped the script tag. This is almost always a plan restriction (wordpress.com below Business, Squarespace Personal, free Wix or Carrd) or a security plugin. Upgrade the plan, whitelist the page, or use your product's hosted checkout link — it needs no script at all.

The checkout appears but is cut off

It sizes itself automatically on normal pages. If your platform wraps embeds in a fixed-height box (Wix and Google Sites do), make that box taller in the editor.

A payment method is missing at checkout

That provider is not connected in Settings → Payment Providers, or is not enabled on that product. Connect it and enable it on the product, and it appears.

Apple Pay or Google Pay don't show

Both require the page to be served over HTTPS, and they follow the buyer's device and browser support. Neither appears on a local or preview site.

The browser console mentions frame-ancestors or CSP

Your site sends a Content-Security-Policy that blocks embedded frames. Add app.surcopay.com to your frame-src directive, or use the hosted checkout link.

Payments fail instantly in testing

You are on Stripe test keys, which only accept test cards — use 4242 4242 4242 4242 with any future date and CVC. Switch to live keys when you are ready to sell.

Still stuck? Email support@surcopay.com with your product ID and where you are embedding — those two things let us reproduce most problems immediately.
