Your receipt is in your inbox. It's
filing-ready — subtotal, tax as its own line, jurisdiction,
transaction ID. Business buyers get a proper tax receipt
without emailing you.
What you just saw
A real SurcoPay flow does the same four things. The only
differences on a live sale are the card actually gets charged
and the download link is real.
Tax calculated live, as its own line
PR, Texas, Maryland, Louisiana, Arizona, Tennessee, Utah are
live. The rest of the US and international buyers show a
review flag at checkout. No fee is ever charged on the tax
total — it passes through to you in full.
Stripe charges the card, not us
Card data never touches SurcoPay. Stripe tokenizes it and
settles the payment into your Stripe balance. Our 4.5% comes
out at the time of charge via Stripe's application-fee
mechanism — we never hold a balance of yours.
The download page is yours to brand later
In Free, buyers see the default SurcoPay download page you
just saw. Pro adds custom branding on both the checkout and
the download page. Both tiers include license-key delivery
for software, multi-file bundles with previews, and update
pushes.
Receipts are filing-ready
Every receipt includes subtotal, tax as its own line,
jurisdiction, transaction ID, and the full seller + buyer
info a business buyer needs for expense claims. No
"proper receipt" emails to answer.
